Psychological Counseling Timetable
NYCU Mental Health and Counseling Center: At NYCU (Chiaotung campus), each department has its own department psychologist, who provides counseling or consultation services to students to help them deal with those mental issues they may need some help. The department psychologist also host lectures, speeches or events to promote the mental health of students. It’s welcome for you to make an appointment with your department psychologist for your any issues, such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, and etc.

Miss Weng is a new psychologist at the Mental Health and Counseling Center, at NYCU.
Miss Weng’s responsibilities include counseling services for TIGP, such as promoting psychological issues, providing counseling and guidance to TIGP students, and handling emergency and crisis cases. She assists students in dealing with emotional stress, interpersonal relationships, self-growth, and academic pressures, striving to help them achieve a balance between mental health and academic life.
When students encounter difficulties such as the following situations, they can seek assistance from Miss Weng.
- Emotional Distress: Anxiety, stress, depression, or other emotional challenges.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Difficulties in communication with classmates, teachers, or family members.
- Academic Pressure: Issues related to academic workload, time management, or learning skills.
- Self-Exploration: Seeking self-identity, life goals, or career development direction.
