Research Interest
- Molecular Association: The NMR and other spectroscopic methods were employed to investigate the hetero-association accompanying self-association: A+A=A2, B+B=B2, A+B=AB. An novel algorithms is found to be much accurate than the conventional Benesi-Hildebrand method in treatment of the data.
- Internal Rotation of Substituted Ethanes: The solvent and temperature effects of the H-H vincinal coupling constants of the titled compounds was used to study the energy barrier of the internal rotation about C-C bond, using Karplus equation, statistical mechanics and mathematical method.
- Diffusion across Membranes: We use matrix method to do some theoretical calculation of the permeability and lag times for various models of diffusion across membranes and will apply to drug delivery across skin and diffusion diaphragm cell.
