Department of Applied Chemistry

Department Restrictions Chemistry-related degrees
Academic Grades Criteria 60 points/100 or above (GPA)
Required Documents
Required documents

  • Admissions application form
  • Study plan (Motivation letter/Statement of purpose)
  • Certificate of the highest educational level (certified translation is required if the original certificate is not issued in English or Chinese)
  •  Transcripts of the highest educational level (including a description of the grading system, GPA, class or school ranking. Certified translation is required if the original transcript is not issued in English or Chinese)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Proof of English language proficiency
    The English language proficiency of applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
    TOEFL-ITP:500↑、TOEFL- iBT:73↑、IELTS (academic):5.5↑、TOEIC:750↑
  • Financial statement (proof of scholarship award or proof of bank deposit)
  • Passport or other proof of nationality
  • Taiwan Alien Resident Certificate (ARC, if any)
  • CV/Resume

Other supporting documents:

  • Proof of Chinese language proficiency
  • GRE certificate (chemistry)
