NYCU-Gakushuin Student Symposium

NYCU-Gakushuin Student Symposium

Starting from 2015, the 1st Gakushuin-NCTU Student Symposium was initiated in November 11, 2015

Starting from 2015, the 1st Gakushuin-NCTU Student Symposium was initiated in November 11, 2015 with the joint efforts of Prof. Yuan-Pern Lee and Prof. Hamaguchi (Department of Applied Chemistry, National Chiao Tung University , Taiwan), Prof. Takahiko Akiyama (Department of Chemistry, Gakushuin University, Japan).

In the next year, the symposium was held successfully in Japan with the cordial invitation of the chairman of Department of Chemistry, Gakushuin University. Contingent upon the fruitful oucomes, both departments started to take turns hosting the Gakushuin-NCTU Student Symposium. The 2017, 2019 and 2024 Gakushuin-NCTU Student Symposium was held by the Department of Applied Chemistry, NCTU/NYCU, Taiwan. 2018, 2023 and 2025 Gakushuin-NYCU Student Symposium was hosted by Gakushuin University, Japan.The symposium has become an indispensable stage for students in both departments to share their latest research progress.
