本實驗室的研究聚焦在天然物全合成,透過模式識別的逆合成分析(Pattern Recognition-Based Retrosynthesis),來建構一系列泛用的全合成網絡,藉此能簡化複雜天然物全合成的流程。舉例來說,我們以「插烯酯化合物」為關鍵中間體,運用芳基化反應與策略性的官能基轉化,以模組化的手段來合成結構特殊的小分子天然物家族。此一創新有效的策略,可應用在建立活性天然物及其衍生物的合成分子庫,加速探索生物活性小分子相關的化學宇宙(chemical space)。另一方面,我們運用「連續式流動合成系統」來製備具高應用價值的苯酚衍生物、聯芳烴材料、離子液體與硝基雜環類藥物;此技術將有利於特用化學品製程的升級,協助產業界達成高效安全、綠色合成的永續目標。
