Learning Satellite Program of Hokkiado University at NYCU
The Learning Satellite Program of Hokkaido University will be held at the Department of
Applied Chemistry, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) on January
12 and 13, 2026. Three distinguished faculty members from the Graduate School
of Chemical Sciences and Engineering, Hokkaido University, will deliver a
series of lectures at NYCU.
The two-day program will feature eight in-depth lectures covering cutting-edge topics in chemistry
and materials science. Prof. Kosei Ueno will present lectures on
photochemistry, nanophotonics, and nanofabrication; Prof. Masaki Matsui will
focus on inorganic chemistry, solid-state chemistry, and secondary battery
technologies; and Prof. Kei Murakoshi will introduce fundamental and applied
aspects of electrochemistry, energy conversion, and polariton chemistry.
Through this Learning Satellite Program, we aim to provide students and researchers with exposure to
diverse scientific perspectives, and stimulate collaborative research in
emerging and interdisciplinary fields. Most importantly, this program also
serves as a key platform for promoting the Dual Ph.D. Degree Program between
Hokkaido University and NYCU.
